When water gets in
Water Damage Restoration and Structural Drying are carried out in line with IICRC S500. Water Leak Detection looks for where it’s coming from, and Dehumidifier Hire keeps the drying going. A building that only looks dry on the surface can still be holding water underneath, so it’s measured rather than assumed.
Until we arrive: switch the water off at the mains if a pipe has burst, keep away from wet electrics, and don’t start pulling up carpet or plasterboard yourself. Photos taken now, before anything is moved, make the insurance side easier later.
Mould and air quality
Mould Inspection & Testing comes first, then Mould Removal & Remediation in line with IICRC S520. Air Quality Testing is available, and samples are tested through NATA-accredited laboratory partners.
Fire, smoke and difficult jobs
Fire & Smoke Restoration follows IICRC S700. We also take on Trauma & Crime Scene Cleaning, Deceased Estate Clearing, Hoarding & Squalor Cleaning, Meth Testing & Decontamination and Lead Paint Removal around Rockhampton.
After a fire, wait for the all-clear before going back inside, and leave soot alone rather than wiping it, because wiping tends to smear it further.
