Water damage restoration
Water Damage Restoration and Structural Drying are carried out in line with IICRC S500. Water Leak Detection helps track down the cause, and Dehumidifier Hire is available when the drying needs extra equipment on site.
What to do first
If it’s safe, stop the water at the mains and keep the power off in any wet room. Lift what you can off the floor, keep damaged items for the insurer to see, and take photos before the cleanup starts.
Mould
Mould Inspection & Testing comes first. Mould Removal & Remediation follows in line with IICRC S520, and Air Quality Testing is available too, with samples tested through NATA-accredited laboratory partners. Until then, don’t scrub or bleach it, because that tends to spread it rather than remove it.
Fire, smoke and specialist cleaning
Fire & Smoke Restoration is carried out in line with IICRC S700. Once the fire service gives the all-clear, photograph the damage and leave soot residue untouched until it’s assessed.
