First comes the inspection, where we work out what’s wet and why. Then the affected room is contained so spores don’t travel. Anything the mould has worked through, like plasterboard or underlay, is removed. Surfaces that stay are treated with an antimicrobial, and the structure is dried and monitored on alternate days.
