Does mould come back after cleaning?
It will if the moisture remains. That is why the report names the source and the scope includes drying.
Is a mould inspection covered by insurance?
It depends on the policy and on what caused the mould. Where it follows an insured event, such as a burst pipe or storm, the team liaises with your insurer on the claim, and the insurer decides what is covered.
Who is responsible for mould in a rental property?
Usually that depends on the cause: a leak or defect in the building, or the way the home has been used and ventilated. The report sets the cause down in writing, so tenant and landlord are looking at the same findings.
