Water leak detection in Mandurah from Elite Restoration finds the leak you can’t see, in a pipe behind plaster, a line under the slab or a shower that has stopped holding water, and then dries the structure once the leak is repaired. It covers Mandurah, Halls Head, Meadow Springs and Greenfields, with emergency call-out 24/7, 365 days a year.
The usual signs are a bill that has jumped, a meter that moves with everything off, damp or staining with no obvious source, or a musty smell.
“We had a pipe burst in our ceiling, water seeped into our walls and our unit was at a very high risk for mould :( Guosheng worked tirelessly to ensure the drying process went as smooth as possible, even working until the evening on a Friday to ensure our walls would be dry and safe over the weekend! An extremely proficient and productive company that thrives on providing excellent service and quality work. Thank you so much for all of your help! <3”

Nothing was too hard and Guosheng had multiple tricks up his sleeve to ensure maximum drying capacity. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent, which made this very stressful situation for me a lot easier to handle. Thanks so much Guosheng.☺️”
The meter test confirms there is a leak at all. A pressure test on one section of pipe shows whether that section is holding. Acoustic listening finds water escaping a pressurised line, but not a slow drain. Thermal imaging shows the temperature change water leaves in a wall or slab, and works best before the afternoon sun reaches it. Moisture meters show how far the wet has spread, which sets the drying plan.
No one method finds every leak. A slow drain leak or a shower that has stopped holding water often shows only as damp in the next room, so it is traced by mapping where the readings are highest and following them back to the source. That is also the evidence an insurer will want to see.
The visit, step by step
You describe what you have seen and since when.

An initial report and scope follow within 24 hours.
After the repair, the structure is dried in line with IICRC S500 and checked on alternate days until it reads dry.
Mandurah leak detection questions
Do walls or floors need opening?
Only at the spot where the leak is found.
How do I check for a leak myself?
Turn off every tap and appliance, read the meter, and read it again an hour later. Movement means a leak.
Is leak detection covered by insurance?
It depends on your policy. Elite Restoration liaises with your insurer on a claim and supplies the reports and photos.
Who is responsible for a leak before the meter?
Generally the water authority looks after the pipes up to the meter, and the owner looks after everything after it.
