Water damage and drying plans
A drying plan sets out how a wet building gets back to dry: where the moisture is, what equipment goes where, and when it gets checked again.
Water Damage Restoration and Structural Drying are carried out in line with IICRC S500, and our targets include monitoring on alternate days. Water Leak Detection and Dehumidifier Hire are part of the service too.
Mould, air and testing
Mould Inspection & Testing, Mould Removal & Remediation and Air Quality Testing are all available, with remediation in line with IICRC S520 and samples tested through NATA-accredited laboratory partners.
Fire, smoke and the rest
Fire & Smoke Restoration is carried out in line with IICRC S700. We also offer Lead Paint Removal, Meth Testing & Decontamination, Trauma & Crime Scene Cleaning, Deceased Estate Clearing, and Hoarding & Squalor Cleaning.
That covers Tweed Heads and Banora Point, Kingscliff and Cabarita Beach on the coast, and Murwillumbah inland, with Pottsville at the southern end of the run.
The first hours after a flood
Turn the water off at the mains if it’s safe to reach. Lift rugs, papers and electrical items off wet floors, and photograph the damage before it’s cleaned up, for your insurer.
From first call to sign-off
We liaise with your insurer from the first call to final sign-off, and report live from site as the work moves along, so there’s no guessing about progress. Scopes and quotes are prepared onsite, and our targets include an initial report and a scope or quote within 24 hours.

Our technicians' IICRC certifications include water damage restoration, applied structural drying and applied microbial remediation. Elite Restoration is an IICRC Certified Firm and CM3 certified, carries $20 million in public and products liability cover, and is a member of the IICRC and the Restoration Industry Association. The Elite brand has been operating since 1984.
