In October 2026 our team completed mould remediation work in Mount Nathan QLD 4211. Across the job, 14 rooms were documented, so the work could be recorded room by room as it progressed.
Mould remediation follows a set sequence. The first stage is inspection and assessment, where the affected areas are identified and their extent recorded. Containment comes next, using sealed barriers and negative air pressure so spores are not carried into clean areas. Affected materials are then removed or cleaned, surfaces are treated, and air and surfaces are checked before the area is released. Work of this kind is carried out in line with IICRC S520, the industry standard for mould remediation, which sets out how each stage should be planned, controlled and documented.
Documentation runs alongside the physical work. Each room is recorded so that the condition before, during and after treatment can be tracked. Where insurance is involved, we liaise with the insurer on the claim and keep the records needed to support the scope of work. We don’t speak for any insurer, and the scope is set by the work itself.
Mould in a home is more than a surface problem. It can grow in wall cavities, under flooring and behind fixtures, and it often starts where moisture has been present for some time. For residents in Mount Nathan and surrounding areas, the practical value of a documented, standards-based job is that the affected spaces are cleaned properly and the condition of each room is on record.
