Water and drying
Water Damage Restoration and Structural Drying are carried out in line with IICRC S500. Water Leak Detection is used to find the source when it isn’t obvious, and Dehumidifier Hire is available for drying that takes longer. The aim is a building that’s genuinely dry, not just dry to the touch.
Until we get there
- Turn off the water at the mains if you can reach it safely.
- Don’t touch power points or appliances that are wet.
- Move rugs, boxes and furniture off the soaked floor.
- Photograph the damage before the cleanup starts.
Mould
Mould Inspection & Testing and Mould Removal & Remediation are carried out in line with IICRC S520. Air Quality Testing is available too, with samples tested through NATA-accredited laboratory partners. Visible mould is best left untouched until it’s inspected, as wiping it tends to spread it.
Fire and smoke
Fire & Smoke Restoration is done in line with IICRC S700. After a fire, keep anything electrical that was near the heat or water switched off until it’s been checked. Our technicians hold IICRC certifications including water damage restoration, applied structural drying, applied microbial remediation, and fire and smoke damage restoration at Master level.
