How a restoration job runs
Once we’re on site you get live onsite reporting, scopes and quotes, so the plan is on paper before the work starts. If you’re claiming, we liaise with your insurer from first call to final sign-off, and insurance work follows a 7-Day End-of-Loss project life cycle.
Water damage
Water Damage Restoration and Structural Drying are carried out in line with IICRC S500, supported by Water Leak Detection and Dehumidifier Hire.
Before we arrive
- Shut off the water at the mains if a pipe has given way.
- Leave wet power points and appliances alone, and switch off power to that area if it’s safe.
- Move furniture and anything absorbent off the wet floor.
- Take photos before anything is moved, for the claim.
Mould and air
Mould Inspection & Testing and Mould Removal & Remediation follow IICRC S520. Air Quality Testing is available too, with samples tested through NATA-accredited laboratory partners. If mould has appeared, close the room off and resist cleaning it yourself, since that can spread it.
Fire and smoke
Fire & Smoke Restoration is carried out in line with IICRC S700. Wait for the all-clear before going back in, and don’t wipe soot off walls or furniture, because it smears.
