Working through an insurance claim
If the damage is going through insurance, we liaise with your insurer directly, from first call to final sign-off. Insurance work runs on a 7-Day End-of-Loss project life cycle, and live onsite reporting, scopes and quotes mean you can see where things stand at each step.
Water, drying and leaks
Water Damage Restoration and Structural Drying are carried out in line with IICRC S500. Wet timber floors and plasterboard don’t dry out on their own in a hurry, which is why the drying gets as much attention as the cleanup.
When it isn’t obvious where the water is getting in, Water Leak Detection looks for the source. Dehumidifier Hire covers the drying that needs more time.
Until we arrive
- If it’s safe, shut the water off at the mains.
- Keep the power off anywhere water has reached power points or appliances.
- Move what you can off the wet floor, starting with things that soak water up, like rugs and cardboard boxes.
- Take photos room by room before the cleanup starts.
Mould, fire and smoke
For mould there’s Mould Inspection & Testing and then Mould Removal & Remediation, done in line with IICRC S520, with Air Quality Testing alongside. Samples are tested through NATA-accredited laboratory partners.
Fire & Smoke Restoration follows IICRC S700, the standard for fire and smoke damage.
Sensitive and specialist work
